How It Works
Holmak Heat Exchangers operate using the counterflow principle. Incoming and outgoing air streams inside the MVHR unit are kept separate. Thanks to the high-efficiency, Holmak Heat Exchanger, up to 95% of residual heat in the outgoing air is transferred through the heat exchange unit to the incoming airstream.
Why Choose a Counterflow Heat Exchanger?
The counterflow arrangement eliminates the requirement for moving parts inside the heat exchanger. Unlike some alternative technologies, counterflow units can be mounted directly on to any suitable, load-bearing surface. And because the Heat Exchanger incorporates no moving parts whatsoever, there is less to set-up, service and maintain.
